Our mission is to stimulate young people developing their own life style, their universe and their artistic competences. Hereby we especially want to support the beginning ‘artists' realizing their dream. With RockAndRest we want to develop a ‘culture' that through us might get to the commercial circuit and could going to lead an own life.

The start has been made through a structural cooperation with MOD. The Playfestival is one of MOD's initiatives that fits within our philosophy. In the future we will follow the activities of Rock Academy and help MOD to create chances that can help the students to build out a professional career.

Besides musicians we also want to pay attention to the visual artists. In the meantime certain products for RockAndRest already have been designed by the students of the 4th and 5th year of Media & Design Academy in Genk. The necessary press attention and the interest of the business world will certainly benefit to the students and the Academy. Also in this area we want to build out a further cooperation in the future.

Different commercial partners try to put down a label that appeals young people. The commercial success of the underlying products will also determine the engagement of the partners. Without the interest of the young people it's impossible for RockAndRest to become a platform that has some expressiveness to support artists and students in a right way.
